Prometheus contribution to Dalma Gas Development Project in Abu Dhabi through the design of n. 91 flexible fire-protection jackets (ProFlex)
Prometheus is proud to have contributed to ADNOC Group's Dalma Gas Development Project by designing and providing tailored ProFlex fire-protection jackets, helping to drive the UAE's objectives for gas self-sufficiency.
This solution is in line with ADNOC Group ’s $1.46 billion investment and its dedication to local development, sustainability, and energy security.
Prometheus, recently recognized with an award and selected as a future supplier, will support the Dalma Gas Development Project in Abu Dhabi through the provision of custom-designed ProFlex flexible fire-protection jackets.
This tailored solution aligns with ADNOC Group's strategic vision for the Dalma project, located on Arzanah Island. The project has showcased Prometheus' dedication to providing high-performance fire protection systems.
As a key element of ADNOC Group’s $1.46 billion investment in this landmark initiative, led by Tecnicas Reunidas under the Ghasha Concession, the Dalma project is set to advance the UAE’s gas self-sufficiency goals.
ProFlex systems will provide critical protection for essential infrastructure, including gas conditioning and dehydration units, adhering to the project's rigorous technical standards and supporting the safe and efficient operation of these facilities.
Prometheus' role in the project will align closely with ADNOC Group’s In-Country Value (ICV) program, which has been launched to bolster the UAE’s economy by reinvesting a substantial portion of project value locally.
This commitment to local economic growth, combined with ADNOC Group’s focus on sustainability, reinforces the UAE's environmental and energy security ambitions.
Upon its completion in 2025, the Dalma project is anticipated to contribute an additional 340 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas, playing a vital role in ADNOC Group's journey toward a sustainable, energy-secure future for the UAE.
